This morning while reading a section of Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine by Gabriel Cousens, M.D. (available from Amazon.com, Amazon.ca
), I came across a sentence that really stood out. I’ve already shared the sentence on Facebook earlier today, but thought I’d also share it here on EatRawVegan.com as well:
“Industrial pollution [pesticides, herbicides, etc.] is a form of national domestic violence.”1
This quote really resonates with me, especially as I learn more and more about the huge health toll standard farming practices place on the general population (and the world more generally). I now purchase almost exclusively organically grown food2 (and more ideally, food produced using methods such as those used in veganic agriculture) and definitely notice a difference in my health. Please share your thoughts about the quote in the comments section for this post.
