The base ingredient of many raw vegan ice creams is the banana. Take ripe organic bananas, peel them and freeze them. Bananas are ripe once they start getting brown spots on them and peel easily.

- Food Processor, Champion Juicer, or Ice Cream Machine
Ingredients
- frozen bananas
- other stuff optional, the possibilities are endless!
Directions
- Process the bananas and any optional ingredients until you get a creamy soft-serve consistency. If you’re using a food processor, you may need to add a little water to help speed this process up.
Some common options are adding berries (e.g., strawberries, blueberries). The picture below is of some raw vegan ice cream I made with added blueberries as the option:
I’ve also tried some other combinations. Pictured below is a raw vegan ice cream I made using equal parts mesquite powder, cacao powder, and a little bit of maca powder as the options, garnished with some goji berries:
