Recently, OrganicLives Enterprises (www.organiclives.org), a new distributor of high quality raw organic products started business in the Vancouver area. I’ve now started regularly purchasing from them. Among the products OrganicLives carries are raw organic nuts, seeds, and fruits; an assortment of superfoods such as maca and E3Live; as well some equipment items of interest to those eating raw food on a regular basis. Of particular note in the equipment category are Excalibur food dehydrators, Champion juicers, and Vitamix blenders (not currently available via the website). Before OrganicLives came on the scene, one had to get these equipment items shipped in, as there were no local distributors in the Vancouver area.
Currently, order payments are processed via Paypal. However, I hear rumor that they will soon be using a payment gateway. This should make the checkout process smoother (you will no longer be redirected to Paypal for payment processing), yet still be as secure. Orders can be picked up at two locations, one in Delta & one in downtown Vancouver. Shipping is also available and is carried out on a order-by-order basis to guarantee the best shipping rate based on your location.
Prices for products are lower than similar items available elsewhere in Vancouver. Right now, my favorite items are the sun-dried mango & dried pineapple (both of which are different & better than other dried mango and pineapple I’ve tried), the almonds (sourced from Spain, they are truly raw and not pasteurized like almonds from California), and mejdool dates. There are many other products that I get from OrganicLives that I no longer get elsewhere because of the excellent price & quality.
